Nov 16, 2008 - Slade takes Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Winners Male at the Kent Kennel club show in chatham.

What's next for 2009 ..........

- Slade takes time off for the Holidays and to mature a bit more than back into the show ring in early 2009 for a very exciting year

-  Faye will be bred to Hemi a repeat breeding from our 2008 litter

-  We will be adding a new edition to the Colray Family. We will be keeping a female pup from our litter to carry on our lineage.  She will take to the ring in fall 2009

-  Hope to get Faye, Chase, Slade and Scout out to some Specilaty shows.

-  The 5th Annual Weim Fun Day we will be hosting more info to come later

•  Oct 18 & 19, 2008 - Slade made his show ring debut at the London Canine Association show.  He placed second in his age group.
• Aug 23, 2008 -  Chase wins Best Veteran male at the Weimaraner National Specialty show in Long Sault, ON
• April 2nd, 2008 - Faye and Hemi are the proud new parents of 6 new weim babies.  4 Males & 2 Females were born with a  very nice quick and easy delivery.  Congratulations to all our new puppy owners!!
• March 22& 23, 2008 - Scout was shown by his owners in Windsor and did very well.  Next show for him will be in May at the KW Kennel Club show.  Stay tuned......
• Feb 10, 2008  - Trintiy and Chase passed their St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog certification tests!!!!!
• Feb 1, 2008 - Faye had a very romantic week with her stud Hemi.  We hope to weclome their puppies April 3, 2008.
• Jan 20, 2008 - Scout went Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed at the Elgin Dog Show in London, ON for his first 2 pts toward his championship title.  Way to go Scout!!!!!!
•  Nov 30, 2007 - Faye and Chase were shown in Lansing, MI at the Southern Michigan Weimaraner Specialty show.  Both did wonderful and had fun.  The US competition was hard and Faye did not place in her age group.  Chase won a stuffy and a ribbon in the veterans class.  Both had so much fun and now to relax for the rest of 2007!!
•  Nov 18, 2007 - Faye's puppy Scout "Colray's Phanton Scout" made his first appearance in the show ring today!!  With very limited training scout was reserve winners dog.  it did not matter what he placed but the fact that he LOVED being in the spotlight.  Boy can this boy move.  He had wonderful flowing movement and was just so happy to be at the show.  With some more training we can't wait to see what this boys future holds.  Stay tuned.....
• Oct 27, 2007 - Frank and his brother Tony had a great weekend at Goldcreek farms despite the cold, rainy weather!  Our little bird dog Faye accompanied them and helped scout out the field for birds.  Faye located and pointed out many birds for them but the wind made it difficult for the men to hit their target.  They still managed to come home with one bird and everyone had a great time
• Sept 29, 2007  - The Weimaraner Association of Canada held a hunt test at Goldcreek farms in Mount Brydges,ON.  Faye was entered in the Novice Retrieving Dog test "NRD".  Faye always loves to get out in the field and have fun.  She did great during training sessions but when it came down to test date 1 tiny mistake and she did not qualify for her title.  That's ok!!  this just means we get to go back and do it again next year.  Regardless she did amazing and the men even got to go out and do some pheseant hunting after the trails.  it was a great day in the field.

• Sept 23, 2007 - Frank and I hosted the 3rd Annual Weimaraner Fun Day here in Windsor at Paws for Love Doggie Daycare Center.  Once again it was a complete success and we would like to thank all who attended and helped out.  A special thanks to Jamie, the owner of Paws for Love, and her wonderful staff for donating their beautiful grounds.  The weims all had a great day running and playing and the weather could not have been any better.  Proceeds went to help out the Ontario Weim Rescue and the Michigan Weim Rescue.  See you all next year!!!

• Sept 1 & 2, 2007 - Faye went Best of Breed on Sat Sept 1, 2007 at the Essex Kennel Club Dog show held in Ruthven, ON at Colasonti's Tropical Gardens. This was Faye's first show since becoming a mom on 8 pups in April.  Yep!  She still has what it takes.  
• July 28, 2007 - Faye and Trinity did a hunt test in Highland, Michigan for the Novice Shooting Dog title.  It was a very hot day and faye had no trouble with finding the birds.  She got her NSD title with ease.  Trinity on the other hand did not have such a great run and we will try again for her title next year.
